The Role of TPEE in Circular Design
1. The Polyester Family Approach
By pairing a polyester-based TPEE (Thermoplastic Polyester Elastomer) membrane, such as AquaVene™ or ProShell™, with polyester textiles, we create a materially consistent structure without compromising bonding strength.
2. Textile-to-Textile Recycling
Because the entire garment shares a consistent polymer chemistry, the whole piece can be shredded and melted down together. This removes the costly and difficult process of separating layers.
3. Uncompromised Performance
Sustainable design does not sacrifice functionality. TPEE monolithic membranes remain highly flexible, thermally stable, and provide excellent hydrostatic resistance and moisture vapor transmission.
