What is the structural composition of the material?
Kae Hwa Industrial specializes in multi-layer functional laminates. Most of our products are composite materials engineered to provide a specific balance of protection, durability, and skin comfort.
LAYER 1
The Functional Membrane (The Core)
This is the “engine” of the material. It can be a Microporous PE/PP film or a Monolithic TPEE membrane. This layer provides the primary waterproof and breathable barrier.
BOND
Solvent-Free In-Line Lamination
We use high-precision thermal or ultrasonic bonding to fuse layers. Our solvent-free process ensures no toxic residue, making it safe for medical and hygiene use.
LAYER 2
Substrate / Face Fabric
Depending on the application, we laminate the film to Spunbond/Meltblown nonwovens (for diapers/gowns) or Woven Fabrics (for high-end outdoor ProShell™ gear).
Customizable Structures (2L, 2.5L, 3L)
We can engineer 2-Layer (Film + Fabric), 2.5-Layer (Printed backing), or 3-Layer (Face fabric + Film + Tricot lining) structures to meet specific weight and durability requirements for mountaineering or tactical use.
