How does AromaFlow™ release scent without staining, and how does ThermoBreathe™ safely control heat pack temperatures?

While serving completely different consumer markets, both AromaFlow™ and ThermoBreathe™ are specialized laminates within Kae Hwa’s FunPack™ functional packaging series. By engineering the membrane to act as a molecular gatekeeper—precisely controlling the transmission of specific gases and vapors—we ensure maximum functional efficiency alongside absolute user safety.

Distinct Mechanisms for Scent and Heat

🌸

AromaFlow™: Oleophobic Scent Diffusion

Traditional paper sachets are prone to absorbing liquid essential oils, leading to severe oil stains on clothing and inside drawers. AromaFlow™ solves this by utilizing an oleophobic (oil-resistant) microporous membrane.

The Science:The micro-pores are physically sized to allow volatile aromatic gas molecules to diffuse freely into the air, while strictly preventing the larger liquid essential oil droplets from penetrating. This guarantees a steady fragrance release while maintaining a 100% stain-free exterior.

ThermoBreathe™: Precision Thermal Regulation

Hand warmers and medical heat packs generate heat through the exothermic oxidation of iron powder. If too much oxygen enters the pouch, the reaction spikes, causing the pack to overheat dangerously and potentially burn the user.

The Science:ThermoBreathe™ laminates are engineered with a highly specific Air Permeability Rate. Acting as a microscopic metering valve, the film restricts the inflow of oxygen to a controlled, steady level. This ensures the pack remains at a safe, constant temperature while extending the heating duration for up to 12-24 hours.
